Animal origin of sexually transmitted diseases?
I just read an article that states all sexually transmitted diseases originated with humans having sex with animals. It said that right now in Africa men are having a lot of sex with dogs. What are your thoughts on this?

I think the article is nonsense
I have not heard this before. If it is true… honestly it is disgusting. The only sexually transmitted disease that originated in humans that I know of is AIDS. It is believed AIDS was transferred from chimpanzes to humans. Some of the theories that are believed to cause the transfer is the "cut hunter" theory (where hunters with wounds got AIDS from butchering the chimpanzees open wounds on their hand – the method of bodily fulid transfer.) or that chimpanzees with AIDS were used to make vaccines which were administered to many in Africa.
