You absolutely can get warts when you have sex with a person who is infected with them. As for getting them through towels only if you used one right after some one with genital warts did. Warts are contracted by skin to skin contact when you have sex.
If they have genital warts, then you will get them by having unprotected sex with them.
you have a 100% chance of getting warts. sorry to tell you but even if you use protection the risk isn’t as high but you are still putting yourself at risk of getting it. it’s very contagious and spreads through skin to skin contact. it can take from as little as weeks to show symptoms or even a couple years but once you have it you will know so always protect yourself if you’re going to do it anyway. even if the infected person has no visible warts at the time you can still get it.
