Before you dive into the blog I just want to say one thing:
no matter how much you love your bf and you dont want to
embarrass him, if he has genital warts -
HE MUST TREAT IT.
Or you'll both suffer. Dont just let it be cause you'll pay dearly later on.
If you dont feel comfortable to confront him just do what I did - I got him this really amazing cure after seeing it on ABC news, and I used it to treat him without him even knowing anything about it :)
In the end of the day it doesnt really matter if you take this cure or any other
just treat it and dont ignore it.
Live healthy and enjoy my blog,
Suzi
I have genital warts and i dont know what to do.i took a shot to prevent them but i guess it didnt work.what should i do? how do i treat them? and are they supposed to hurt?
Genital warts (condylomata acuminata) are warts in or around the vagina, penis, or rectum caused by sexually transmitted papillomaviruses. Genital warts occur most often on warm, moist surfaces of the body. In men, the usual areas are on the end and shaft of the penis and below the foreskin. In women, genital warts occur on the vulva, the vaginal wall, the cervix, and the skin surrounding the vaginal area. Genital warts may develop in the area around the anus and in the rectum, especially in homosexual men and women who engage in anal sex. Genital warts can sometimes be mistaken for sores found in the secondary stage of syphilis. So it is best if you go into the doctor and have them look at it and maybe do a pap test. If you had the shot I really do not think that it is genital warts. You may have something else. And no they do not hurt. You can not treat them on your own. A doctor need to do that with laser. So please my dear, do go into the doctor and try not to worry about it until you know for sure. Good luck! Drop me a line and let me know how you do.
no, it is a sexual disease that has to be taken care of by a doctor1
genital warts are caused from hpv.they are sexually transmitted. No, they don’t Normally hurt.
Here is a web site with good info.
http://www.cdc.gov/std/HPV/STDFact-HPV.htm
HPV Genital Warts do not have anything to do with hygiene.
Genital HPV types are acquired through sex and sex play with an infected partner. A sex partner may carry the virus but not show any signs of the virus as a wart.
Genital warts don’t usually hurt but if they are at a place where they can get irritated then they can hurt. Genital warts can itch the scratching can irritate the wart.
Were you engaged in sex or any sex play before you received the HPV vaccine? The vaccine only works if you have never been exposed to the virus. The vaccine is most effective if given before any sexual exposure. The vaccine is not a treatment for the virus.
Your doctor can burn, freeze or use acid to remove the manifestation of the virus. An at home treatment is Aldara. Aldara works with the immune system to help the body identify the virus and fight it http://www.aldara.com
I wish you well.
Warts are a sexually transmitted virus. It has nothing to do with hygene. It has everything to do with unprotected sex. You can have them removed by a doctor by the process of freezing, there are probably other ways as well…they can go away on their own, they are treatable but not curable. Viruses remain in your blood your entire lifetime. Usually they are painless.
no it have to do with std
NO>>>>>>>>>>>>> you could be the cleanest freak in the world and still get warts… they are viral and happen to appear on who and where they want when they want to…
