I think i have genital warts, i am goping to see my doctor today but i know that you can get rid of them by freezing them off.
Does this hurt alot?!
Im asking now because if i go later and she says we can do it now, i want to be prepared.
Also i know there are other options so if it hurts loads then i may opt for another option.

i had a couple of warts on my foot when i was 13 and i froze them off. it wasn’t really painful but when you chill it for a long time you start to feel a slight stab like pain. i froze a single wart about 4-5 times once a week and it went off pretty soon. anyways its not like a pain that would make you not want to do it but i’d be lying if i said its not painful at all. its like slowly puting a 0.3cm fingernail into your skin for 15 seconds. other options are laser i think burning is one too
Yes. It is pretty painful. They can also use acid to eat them away which is extremely painful. Get them froze off if possible. You know what acid does… just eats away at your skin. Very very painful, but it only hurts for like 1 min and then the pain goes away.
I’m not sure if genital and other warts are the same in composition, but I have one that grew on my knee that I have been using those medicated band-aids to try and get rid of it and it doesn’t hurt as much as I expected, there is some discomfort … but then again I’m throwing acid on my skin. The downfall of the band aids is that they take forever. I thought it would take like a day or two but it takes like a month or more.
