Before you dive into the blog I just want to say one thing:
no matter how much you love your bf and you dont want to
embarrass him, if he has genital warts -
HE MUST TREAT IT.
Or you'll both suffer. Dont just let it be cause you'll pay dearly later on.
If you dont feel comfortable to confront him just do what I did - I got him this really amazing cure after seeing it on ABC news, and I used it to treat him without him even knowing anything about it :)
In the end of the day it doesnt really matter if you take this cure or any other
just treat it and dont ignore it.
Live healthy and enjoy my blog,
Suzi
So i have had a wart like thing on the bottom of the shaft of my penis for almost 1 month now and i had unprotected sex just before i got it. After i had a bad fever and swollen glands for about a week. i went to the doctor and without a blood test they said i had strep throat, i didnt tell them about the wart.
could this be genital warts or not, ive heard that they are in patches and red and very itchy but i dont have that.
What should i do?
I have heard that before the first outbreak of herpes you could can get symptoms of illness. A wart-like thing is not normal to have there so it is either genital warts, which will multiply if you don’t have this one treated (they usually use liquid nitrogen or Aldara cream), or it could be genital herpes, in which case, Valtrex is an excellent medication if it turns out that is what it is. Either way, both of these conditions get worse without treatment and are contagious to other people you come in contact with sexually. PLEASE see your doctor, or a dermatologist for an evaluation and correct diagnosis of this lesion. It is better to know what it is and take care of it than worry needlessly and have the condition worsen. Take care.
Go to the doctor. Then can pretty much tell you by looking at it. Genital warts tend to be flesh colored or white. They don’t have to itch. They don’t have to be in patches.
If it is a genital wart they can burn it off with acid or give your a prescription for cream to put on it to remove it. But just because the wart is gone doesn’t mean the virus is.
You can get information on genital warts from many good online sources such as the CDC (cdc.gov). But I recommend going to the doctor, then you will know.
Education of the subject matter is the best treatment/prevention. Ultimately you should see a doctor. The sooner the better. Check out the site below. Goodluck
It sounds like you have some STI and also a genital wart
Go back to the doctor
