my husband and i both have genital warts. i haven’t had an outbreak, but he does. they doc. prescibed him a cream. i recently had an ectopic pregnancy (which was probably caused from the genital warts virus)
Anyways, I was wondering if the cream works for him, will he ever have an outbreak again?
Should we use protection everytime?

Your gyno should be able to put a very acidic ointment on them and it will burn them off. This will work completely, however the VIRUS still runs in your body. Once you get them off, they shouldn’t come back for a long time. Also, you shouldn’t have to use protection all the time, however you MUST ask your doctor this. The first thing though, is to get them burned off (which is way quicker than the cream as they fall off within 2 days)
