Before you dive into the blog I just want to say one thing:
no matter how much you love your bf and you dont want to
embarrass him, if he has genital warts -
HE MUST TREAT IT.
Or you'll both suffer. Dont just let it be cause you'll pay dearly later on.
If you dont feel comfortable to confront him just do what I did - I got him this really amazing cure after seeing it on ABC news, and I used it to treat him without him even knowing anything about it :)
In the end of the day it doesnt really matter if you take this cure or any other
just treat it and dont ignore it.
Live healthy and enjoy my blog,
Suzi
Is the ONLY way to get it through sex?
or by kissing or something?
like 22 said, you *can* catch genital warts through skin-to-skin contact with the genital area. Basically if it’s covered by underwear, it’s a potential source of the disease. Condoms obviously don’t prevent this, but they do protect agains other nasty STDs.
You do *NOT* need to have sex to contract HPV, and it is most cewrtainly NOT spread through bodily fluids.
Rarely, you can get warts on the mouth, and they’re now seeing a correlation between high-risk HPV infections and throat cancers in non-smokers.
Hope this helps answer some of your questions.
BY KISSING FROGS.
Genital Warts are caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) which is sexually transmitted – including anal and oral sex.
Genital wart’s is a STD so you can only get it through sex. You cannot get it through kissing someone
Skin to skin contact with an infected person, so even rubbing genitals without penetration can put you at risk. Using a condom is thought to lower the risk. Unfortunately, a condom does not cover all of the genital area so it is still possible to catch even if you use condoms. Condoms are great protection for most STIs like HIV, chlamydia, syphilis and gonorrhea.
Genital warts as well as any STD is passed by unprotected (condom) intimate contact with bodily fluids of a infected partner.
