I haven’t seen my doctor yet but i am almost positive i have genital warts. At my last papsmear it turned out abnormal and i found out i have HPV. Though i havent had any symptoms and have never encountered warts before, this has almost reassured my self diagnosis. I have an appointment to see my doctor in a few weeks, but until then i want to try some natural home remedies to clear this up. I did some research and the three things i found were Vitamin E oil, tea tree oil and apple cider vinegar, now can someone explain to me exactly how i should apply them, which one i should use, how often to use it and so on?

I have genital warts since february 2009 I went to the doctor she gave me aldara to put on the wart I used it for 2 months and it did nothing to the warts… I don’t have health insurence and im unemployed right now so I looked online for home remedies and I found the apple cider vinigar remedy….. what I did was put vitamin e around the wart to not burn my skin and I soak a small cotton ball the size of the wart, put it on top of the wart and put a banaid on top of it left it over night then in the morning I took out the banaid with the cotton ball and put a new banaid . I started doind this two days ago and the wart is dying it got all discolor @ first now it got darker and a piece of the wart just came out.. So far is working… idk if they will come back after or not but im hoping they don’t… if I had insurance I will get them lazer off but since I don’t im trying this….

You can not get rid of them with home remedies . HPV is a serious std. It can be silent and you can develop cancers from it . Please make sure you doctor checks you for the virus , does the procedures to get rid of them. You will have a colposcopy {done in office , take sample of cervix to test.} Then if it comes back positive you will get a cryo{freeze cervix to kill cells} After that you will go back and get a re-pap and if its positive you will have a leep cone { outpatient procedure they take bad cells out of your cervix} . I hope you really don’t try to cure these. Some viruses go away on their own but you are left with cancer cells. Go to the gyno ! Good luck .
