wow sorry to hear that. But yes you can still have sex. You just have to learn to use a condom and take the meds they give you. My mom has herpes and she is 47. She and her boyfriend still have sex. You can get rid of gential warts, you ob/gyn can treat them, will take a number of treatments. They may have better/easier treatments since the ’70s. Your sex life is not over, your partner will probably need treatment, as well.
the best thing is to go to your medical doctor. They may offer you the option of have it cauterized or removed by laser. It is always the best option to practice safe sex.
