Before you dive into the blog I just want to say one thing:
no matter how much you love your bf and you dont want to
embarrass him, if he has genital warts -
HE MUST TREAT IT.
Or you'll both suffer. Dont just let it be cause you'll pay dearly later on.
If you dont feel comfortable to confront him just do what I did - I got him this really amazing cure after seeing it on ABC news, and I used it to treat him without him even knowing anything about it :)
In the end of the day it doesnt really matter if you take this cure or any other
just treat it and dont ignore it.
Live healthy and enjoy my blog,
Suzi
I just got one done a few months ago along with a chlamydia and ghonnorea test. Everything came back negative but my BF tested positive for genital warts.
Both genital warts and cervical cancer are caused by HPV. However you can have warts and still have a normal Pap smear because the Pap is looking for pre-cancerous growth and abnormalities in the cervix — the Pap does NOT detect HPV itself. Moreover, warts and cervical cancer are generally caused by different strains of HPV.
As for your bf, there is no straight test for HPV in men. The only way for him to test positive for warts is if the doctor found a wart.
Have you asked your doctor about getting vaccinated against HPV? And do you use condoms? They offer partial protection against HPV, but it’s better than nothing.
