Assuming your father has a penis, and is not equipped with a urostomy [that is he pees in a bag attached to his stomach or back] he may have a serious problem.
Now, seriously, has he really not peed in 4 days? Or is he just peeing a little bit? If it is 4 days, this is called anuria and most likely his kidneys are shutting down. This means he must go to a hopsital NOW. As in NOW. He will die otherwise, and he will die in pain.
On the other hand, maybe he is just having a hard time peeing? Or maybe he pees but it hurts so bad he tries not to? This too can be bad, but is not automatically life threatening. Even so, he will still need a doctor to see him. He could indeed have an infection, or may have had some damage to his urinary tract, perhaps has grown a urinary polyp, in fact one of many things.
if he is unable to urinate for four whole days, he is dangerously ill and should be in a hospital.
