I have noticed a smal spot on my penis. it isn’t like any of the picture or symptoms of Genital Warts or Herpes. it has a white top on it that can be easily removed without any kind of discharge or fluid underneath. it reminds me a lot of acne-like spots that will develop on the face when it becomes overly dry during the winter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

they are white and non-irritating. At first there we’re only a few, i had decided it was nothing and was probably from sweat from my basketball season. Ok so long story short, I was a fool and took my ex back after he put me through so much crap and had a 7 month relationship. I’ve been reading on genital warts because a friend of mine just got it. The reading materials say that GW are spread by sexual contact. But make me wonder, before the first sexual contact ever that started to spread the HPV virus, how did the very first infected person get infected? The friend of mine’s been monogamous and so is her partner, but she got it a few weeks after some hemorrhoids surgery at some overseas hospital. I had a D&C procedure last October due to blighted ovum (its supposedly my 1st baby) then genital warts started to appear just a few days after it. I have had the bumps for roughly 18 months or so, and initially my doctor said I had Molluscum (he thought). I basically just monitored the situation and after no changes, I decided to see a dermatologist last week. He took a very quick glance from 5 feet away and said "yep, you have genital warts". I’ve been with my wife for over 4 years, and she has pap tests every year and has never been told that she has HPV. I was reading up on genital warts because I seem to have a bump down there… and I vaguely remember having a similar bump over a year ago.

The information I was reading is a little hard to understand. I was basically wondering if I would have HPV and genital warts could develop from it. Or do you get genital warts first and contract HPV from it?

Also I have had a few pap smears and the last two came up as abnormal, but I was not told they were HPV, so they just did a biopsy to make sure they weren’t cancerous. Wouldn’t they be able to tell right away if I had HPV from the pap? I always thought that is what it tested for.

Either way I have an appointment on Friday for a biopsy for my abnormal pap so I just wanted to get some input before the doctor appointment.

I’m scared that I have genital warts. I have these very small little white bumps on the outside of my vaginal lips, they are hardly even noticeable. I have a friend who is female and she has genital warts,she says that they are internal,not visible. She is currently having unprotected sex with her BF who doesn’t know about it.She says the only way for him to get it is if he has an open sore on his penis??? Is that true??

I found out I had HPV a year ago or so… My ex the other day state that he got genital warts because of my HPV… Is that even true, for guys does HPV turn into genital warts for guys? I have been getting into to top physical shape in preparation for joining the LAPD and I just noticed symptoms that are similar to those of Genital Warts aka HPV. Last time I had sex was apx. 3-4 months before i noticed the symptoms occurred. I just hope to God that the LAPD will not see an STD as reason to disqualify me from the application process.

I had a pap smear done a couple of weeks ago and it came back normal. However, I have previously diagnosed genital warts and I was having a flare up when I had the pap done.

How is this possible for it to be normal?

I had sex with a guy last night he told me he didnt have any stds but his friend told me he has genital warts but we only had sex for 10 mins and i told him 2 stop because i didnt want to do anymore without a condom. Can i still get genital warts even though he didnt cum in me? Also his friend said he is taking treatments right now for the genital warts he has medicine for it but he still has the warts.
