Gentail warts

Gentail warts,or in other names, condylomata or condyloma acuminata or venereal warts, is a recognized sign of Gentail HPV infection.

Gentail warts looks as a soft and moist, sometimes flesh colored or gray growths found in the
Gentail and anal region of both men & women. and appears in the gentail area within a few weeks sometime even months after the actual infection. It appears in clusters that resembles cauliflower looking bumps, and can be raised or flat, small or large. gentail warts in women usually shows upĀ  on the vulva and cervix, and inside and surrounding the vagina and anus. In men, gentail warts usually appears on the scrotum or penis. in some cases, gentail warts can be found on the thigh and groin.

Gentail warts represents the most common sexually transmitted disease caused by a virus. The warts are caused by a virus called the human papilloma (HPV). Infection with gentail warts may not be obvious. Infection can occur at any age.

Most commonly diagnosed between of the age of 17-33 years and is highly contagious.
The chances of being infected are a 60% risk by infecting from a single sexual contact with someone who has carries the virus.

Gentail warts, is the most common sexually transmitted disease. Each year 1 million new
cases of gentail warts are diagnosed, mots of them are in women. About 15% of the United
State of Americas population have Gentail warts.

Treatments for gentail warts are various in kinds and of effectiveness. The HPV virus is treated today by a numerous types of treatments. The famous amongst are: podophyllin resin, imiquimod, trichloroacetic acid, and podophyllotoxin. Surgical or destructive therapies include carbon dioxide laser, surgical excision, loop excision, cryotherapy, and electrodessication. Interferon if vinjected locally or sometimes administered systemically.

Efficacy of treatments of gentail warts, often appears to be good, but more and more studies
compares and claims that treatment method depends on the number, size, and location of lesions.
There is no certainty that any treatment is better or effective than the other.
Nevertheless, to distinguish the basic differences, It seems that the first line destructive
treatment is cryotherapy, though surgery and electrodesiccation are more effective.

In children under the age of 3, gentail warts is considered to be transmitted by nonsexual
methods (may be from a direct manual contact),But the presence of gentail warts in children
usually raises the suspicion of potential sexual abuse.

Both my partner and I have anal warts and are going to have them removed with surgery. Since we both have the virus, are we able to (after surgery recover time) go back to having sex without condoms? We are committed to each other so no need to worry about spreading HPV any further.

Like having sex or intercourse.

I feel uncomfortable with having sex with him, he wants to use a condom…the warts are two little ones on the side of his penis…will a condom protect me?

i am a 14 year old male, and am still a virgin, i have noticed these white lumps on the back of the shaft of my penis and am not sure if this is normal. i don’t want to see a doctor as i don’t want my parents thinking i have been having sex when i havent. the lumps cause me no iritation, their not ichy and dont cause soreness. the lumps feel like little hard balls under the skin. if anyone could give me any help (apart from seeing a doctor) or tell me if this is normal. thank you

When you think about it, humans are absolutely filthy when it comes to sex. The percentages of folks with herpes are so very high. And then you have all of the others: gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, genital warts, crabs, AIDS, Hepatitis C, etc, etc, etc. Why do humans get so many sexually transmitted diseases whereas animals get none? What is it with humans? Why does nature punish humans for having sex whereas animals can have as many sexual partners as they want and not get a disease?

I started having sex recently with my girlfriend. The day after the first time, I felt a slight burning inside my penis, it is a constant feeling. It doesnt hurt. I just want to know if it could be something other than an STD like excessive friction, not enough moisture, ie dry humping, irritation from say baby oil. If it is an STD, which one is it likely? And what would be symptoms that follow this burning feeling? Anything visual?

Condoms do not prevent everything! Especially not herpes, genital warts, crabs or syphilis. They can also break, and inexperienced people are likely to use them incorrectly. If you really want to prevent STDs have your partners tested before having sex with them, and then use comdoms.

Okay…I know the best answer to this question is: simply abstain from sex.

So I don’t need you to tell me that.

What I’m looking for is if there’s any way that I can minimize the chances of spreading the virus to my partner and still have sex.

I currently have HPV (the most common of all STDs) and it is manifesting itself as anal warts. The warts are entirely concentrated around my anus and are nowhere else (i.e. on my penis or scrotum or anywhere around it).

I understand that HPV can be spread through skin-to-skin contact. But what I don’t understand is: does that mean contact with any part of the skin in my genital region, including the parts that don’t have any warts (i.e. the penis), or does it only mean contact with the skin that has the warts on it (i.e. the anus)?

I’m sorry to ask such as gross question, but it’s kind of serious. I really dont want to spread this virus but I would also really like to be able to have sex with my partner.
I think if we were careful having sex, it would be pretty easy to have her not come into contact with my anus area, and just with my penis (wearing a condom of course).

If I could find some way to even cover up my anus, would that be a good way to prevent the spread of the virus? Any suggestions for this?

Thanks
I think I still need to clarify more.
I have NO intention of my girlfriend doing ANYTHING near my anal area. Thats not my thing.
All I want to know is: Can contact with my penis transmit this virus or not?

I recently discovered some lumps er.. down below that I’m taking, from what they look like, to be warts, but I was wondering if its possible to get these from anywhere else…
RE: kinsmed
So we run into the problem. Not ever had sex before *gah*, hence the fact im asking =/ or whether i should be thinking about something else…
Sorry, just re-read the question and realised it didn’t give the idea i wanted to give… what i was meaning to say was, Is it possible to get genital warts from another source other than from having sex or sexual contact?

So ive heard from a friend that my 15 yr old boyfriend has a staff
infection on his penis but i dont really believe it .
I just wanted to know if a guy could have one on his
penis & can i get it without having sex with him &
If i do have sex with him perhaps using a condom.
-Thanks!

i’m using a topical cream to get rid of my warts and want them gone as soon as possible. should i avoid having sex while having a break out? does that only aggravate them more? or is it okay and won’t affect the warts one way or another if i have intercourse?
(my partner knows i have them so i’m not infecting anyone i just want them gone and wonder if having sex keeps them around longer)

I’ve had two pap smears and they came back normal. I’ve been tested for all Stds and the results were negatve.
From time to time ( I shave and I’ve stopped shaving and having sex) I get 1 flesh colored bump and then after like a week it will shrink. Sometimes the bump is itchy or it gets irritated.
Is it an ingrown hair?
What do you think it is? And how do I test for it if there is no bump?

When you think about it, humans are absolutely filthy when it comes to sex. The percentages of folks with herpes are so very high. I was recently diagnost with Anal warts. I don’t see any symptoms of the virus but I know its there. What preventative measures, besides not having sex, can I take so he doesn’t get infected?
