Before you dive into the blog I just want to say one thing:
no matter how much you love your bf and you dont want to
embarrass him, if he has genital warts -
HE MUST TREAT IT.
Or you'll both suffer. Dont just let it be cause you'll pay dearly later on.
If you dont feel comfortable to confront him just do what I did - I got him this really amazing cure after seeing it on ABC news, and I used it to treat him without him even knowing anything about it :)
In the end of the day it doesnt really matter if you take this cure or any other
just treat it and dont ignore it.
Live healthy and enjoy my blog,
Suzi
My doc said that 80-85% of girls have the HPV virus, but only some of them manifest warts from it, my question is are genital warts common in men?
I have recently undergone treatment for the warts and hopefully they will clear up. My main fear now is potentially passing the virus on to others in the future. I know you can carry the HPV virus without having warts but is it possible to have warts and not be a carrier of the virus? Or am I stuck with this problem forever???
Any feedback would be appreciated as I feel pretty disgusting right now. Thanks
I’ve been reading on genital warts because a friend of mine just got it. The reading materials say that GW are spread by sexual contact. But make me wonder, before the first sexual contact ever that started to spread the HPV virus, how did the very first infected person get infected? The friend of mine’s been monogamous and so is her partner, but she got it a few weeks after some hemorrhoids surgery at some overseas hospital. In her case, could it be the sanitary conditions overseas? Because as I understand, the procedure involved enemas or cleansing of the rectal way.
I understand that there is almost a 100% chance that a male will get the HPV virus if he sleeps with a female that has it, but what are the chances of a male with the virus getting wart outbreaks?
They gave me a cream and it went away within weeks. I havent had a breakout since then and its been over a year. Do I still have the HPV virus?
I was diagnosed with genital warts when I was 19 years old. I’m now 24 and have only had the one outbreak when I first got it. Could it be possible that I’ll never have another outbreak?? Does this mean I would be rid of the HPV virus? Or would I still have it in my system just not have outbreaks?
I’m doing a project on sexual health at school and I’m a little confused. If you have genital warts albeit 1 or 2 does that necessarily mean you have the HPV Virus?? Also what can be done to combat the virus and is it dangerous????
My partner was diagnosed with genital warts, but we didn’t sleep together. We did, however, "mess around". I noticed 3 small idential raised bumps with a slightly darker center. They are very small. One is located on my wrist. The other on my forearm and the last on my knuckle. Does this mean I have "genital" warts on my skin or are they just regular warts? Does this mean I have the HPV virus?
I know the question sounds dumb, but I read that common warts and genital warts are both caused by the HPV virus. Does the particular strain that causes common warts only cause warts on the hands or feet, or can it cross over to the genitals?
So partner of 8 months suddenly flares up with warts, we were careful (condoms) and slept together only twice I havent got symptoms as of yet but i read it can be dormant for years I think thats what happened with him… anywhoo can they test for warts on me and get a solid result?
Past std checks have all been clear.
Sorry I forgot to mention I’m getting std checked tomoro but I’m worried and wasnt sure if they will pick up a hpv virus should i have one, so thought I’d get a quicker answer here if its possible to detect without symptoms.
In the past I gave an old beau, who had the HPV virus, oral sex. I’ve been to the doctor and had my usual check in. Everythings fine. Is there a chance I can give my current beau genital warts bu giving him oral sex, or even kissing him for that matter? This is a HUGE debate for us. Please help.
