I recently met a great girl who I just started a relationship with, the only problem is that she told me early on that she has genital herpes. I have been cautious when approaching sexual interaction and have avoided penetration. She mentions that it’s only really contagious when she has an outbreak, but shes not completely sure. I know using a condom and certain medications reduce the risk, but I really don’t want to risk it in the very least. Is avoiding penetration the only option I have?
What are the chances of getting genital warts from a partner if you use a condom? Does using a condom lessen the chances at all?

I know someone who has Genital Warts. A good buddy of mine. He goes out and has hooked up with a few women and always uses a condom, but a condom doesn’t always prevent the spread of warts.
