I was told I had genital warts by my doctor when I got a whole std test done. He burned them all off and told me I wouldn’t be able to pass them on to any other woman as long as I didn’t have any of the bumps as the virus in men only is in the wart itself. Is this true?

i have recently had my first smear test, which came back slightly abnormal, 3 months later i then went for a colposcopy, i was told that i had internal gential warts, and that they would clear themselves in time. however shortly after this was confirmed by my doctor, my boyfriend also noticed that he had the same infection. this is something that has only recently come to light with both (noticeably in the 3 months between smear and colposcopy) as we have been checked in the past by a GUM doctor. we have been together 5 years and never had a problem with this infection, neither of us has been with anyone else since we met, but my boyfriend is now having doubts that i may have done something which i havent. what is the reason behind this problem only recently coming to light??

i was diagnosed with genital warts, its not serious form but i feel upset because i dont know how i got it. i’m positive my boyfriend is clean because i’ve known him since 13 years old and now we’re 20 and we’re very close. i don’t think this is the end of the world but is it still possible to have a normal sex life? should i not even consider birth control pill because i might transmit it even when its not visible? am i supposed to use the condom forever??

You know the little wrinkly ring under the penis idk whats it is called but in between 2 of the wrinkles i have this circle and inside their is a small rectangular hole i can feel.Also i gotta stretch the wrinkly ring to be able to see it and when i stretch it or touch it turns red red.
It hurts if i touch inside the hold.
I never had sex and im in 8th grade or touched a woman sexually so excuse that.
So im kinda wondering if this is genital warts or a cut.\
And i had this thing for about a week or something

Do you douse yourself with alcohol/H2O2 or something? Would rubbing yourself to hard get you infected? Would any of this even make a difference?

I just had that burning treatment where they put on TCA acid to burn them off yesterday. But I notice more coming after that could that just be because the irritation? Also when will the white color go away? And who else has this and how olg does it take to clear them up?

If you’ve been diagnosed with HPV how long was it before you got genital warts? Or if you had genital warts show up (and was then diagnosed) did you know the partner who gave it to you?

I’ve been tested for HPV and was negative but I’ve had some sketchy places on my skin come up. I have an appointment in a week but I was just wondering if there’s a usual time table in which sores show up.

I was diagnosed with genital warts a few months ago and the doctor gave me Condylox Gel it is painful and burns the surrounding skin if you’re not careful. Does anyone know of any Natural treatments that doesn’t involve burning the HELL out of Penis. I already seen a doctor and i don’t have insurance to keep going back to see him. Can anyone help?
