Before you dive into the blog I just want to say one thing:
no matter how much you love your bf and you dont want to
embarrass him, if he has genital warts -
HE MUST TREAT IT.
Or you'll both suffer. Dont just let it be cause you'll pay dearly later on.
If you dont feel comfortable to confront him just do what I did - I got him this really amazing cure after seeing it on ABC news, and I used it to treat him without him even knowing anything about it :)
In the end of the day it doesnt really matter if you take this cure or any other
just treat it and dont ignore it.
Live healthy and enjoy my blog,
Suzi
i have genital warts (HPV). i know this as a fact. some new warty-looking growths have appeared on my pelvis, and perhaps the shaft of my penis.
my question is this: if i get the warts removed, will that lessen my risk of developing penile/penis cancer?
i know that HPV is one of the primary risk factors in penis cancer, but i do not not to what extent the warts, when left alone, magnify that risk.
also, what other things can i do to lesson my chances of penis cancer? i.e. decreasing abrasions to my penis, eating better, exercising.
I am asking this question on here because 1) seeing a doctor is expensive (my medical insurance doesn’t cover "non-essential" visits) and 2) i want a wide range of information. a doctor may give me one answer, but i’d like as much information as i can get.
visit your doctor. thats the only advice you should take right now. he/she would know the correct answers.
Yes.
no
u need to consult a dermotologist
I don’t think removing the physical warts will do anything for the underlying virus. I’m sorry to hear that you’re in such an unfortunate predicament. Talk to your doc and see what you can do.
No. The warts are a symptom, not the disease. Only removing the disease will decrease the risks associated with it.
NO!!!!!!!!!! Don’t do anything but see a Doctor Now…Why are you reading this you should be at the doctors already! warts=bad
Genital warts=Cancer
best thing to do is let your doctor know about the warts. early detection is the key. You should also tell anyone you’ve had sex with.
What is with all these people saying "why do you ask?" Because he wants to know the answer. Geez.
Anyway, you should be referred to a dermatologist (special skin doc) who deals with this type of problem on a regular basis. They’ve spent years and years studying and applying treatment for an unfathomable number of skin conditions: everything from cancer to skin rashes to warts.
Although I do not suffer from the affliction, I do believe there are some ways to reduce the effects and outbreaks. The dermatologist can give you all these solutions.
Good luck!
Edit: For the love of God, find money to see a doctor. Is cancer and your life/health/well being not an excuse to pay money to see a doctor?
go to hpv on computer it may tell you there.
Doctors can be expensive but for your own peace of mind is best to one.
Also, I found this resource helpful: http://www.genital-warts.org/ Gives information on how to cure genital warts naturally and permanently.
