Before you dive into the blog I just want to say one thing:
no matter how much you love your bf and you dont want to
embarrass him, if he has genital warts -
HE MUST TREAT IT.
Or you'll both suffer. Dont just let it be cause you'll pay dearly later on.
If you dont feel comfortable to confront him just do what I did - I got him this really amazing cure after seeing it on ABC news, and I used it to treat him without him even knowing anything about it :)
In the end of the day it doesnt really matter if you take this cure or any other
just treat it and dont ignore it.
Live healthy and enjoy my blog,
Suzi
I’m trying to decide which type of doctor to see because I think I may have genital warts. Would a urologist be the most correct person to visit? Thanks.
A dermatologist is best when treating genital warts. Genital warts for the male or female is a skin disorder. Many GP’s treat genital warts.
A urologist is a physician who has specialized knowledge and skill regarding problems of the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive organs.
If you have genital warts of the urethral meatus then a urologist would be your best bet.
A gynecologist can check the cervix…and may be experienced enough in treating genital warts..but for lesions of the vulva, penis and anal area…I feel a dermatologist is more knowledgeable.
Personal experience….my gyn told me the little something of the vulva was nothing…my dermatologist recommended removing lab confirmed carcinoma in situ.
Depends if you’re a man or a woman but really either works. Planned Parenthood can test you for a small fee and they will freeze the warts off for you. They take insurance but it may take a few sessions. Good luck!
if you’re female, i would see your gynecologist. if male, a dermatologist. a urologist usually
deals with what’s going on inside the body.
If you female, a gynecologist. If your a male, go to a regular doctor. I don’t think a dermatologist or urologist would help you.
A dermatologist or your general practitioner would be the correct person to see. If your insurance requires referrals, you should see your general practitioner first for a diagnosis. If you don’t require a referral, call ahead to your dermatologist and see if he or she has experience in diagnosing and treating genital warts.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
If your a woman then a gynecologist. If your a male, go to a regular doctor. A dermatologist can also diagnose this for you, but its better to get treated by a gyno or regular doctor. If you do have gential warts, they will either freeze them off or give you cream. You might have to have several treatments until they are actually gone. And it takes a while for your skin to grow back to normal and be smooth. Just an fyi. Good luck!
Or a gynecologist! Which ever you prefer.
